12.31

Hi all.For the sake of upcoming new year here is my last post for 2011.Will try to write more in the next year :)  So here I put out the source code of a very simple ,banal and incomplete game  I made for the FlashGamm event.Basically the purpose of this demo was to show the performance of Away3D physics engine .And it does perform good! Therefore ,really nothing special ,just a skeleton tracking with some balls kicking around. To install the FB project you will need Flash Builder 4.6 ,AIR 3.1,Microsoft Kinect SDK (latest, also must uninstall OpenNI if exists) and cool native Kinect extension by these great guys.

The Project is named AIRUDP_SOCKET.It may be misleading. The app contains a chunk of code that I wrote before discovering a native extension approach. That is alternative way to use Kinect via Binary socket and C# UDP server app.I don’t include here the server app as it is a sheer mess.I think using the native extension is more convenient way.Besides it I haven’t found any performance increase.Happy new year to everybody!

  3. Que es un archivo .fxp con que se descomprime ?

  4. Sorry man ,hablar no espaniol … Do you mean how to open .fxp? Well ,if you use a Flash Builder you can just import it.Otherwise just rename the extension from .fxp to .zip and open it.I will add a .zip version later :)

  5. thanks !
